Thumbs up whats what for turbo kits?

Been out of FI for some years now, but im looking to dip my toes back in it for my cousins car.
its a stocker and we are looking to toss a turbo kit on it.
when i did my kit i burnt alot of stuff and cracked pipes and it wasnt easy. fun as hell, but not easy.
im leanning towards an sts kit to keep it simple and streetable, but can anyone give me some good info on any kits out there now?

thanks

I second Kentucky Turbo. I have a buddy's car I spec'd out for him (6.0 lq4 EPP cam and KYTP a/c kit) and on 5psi he made 470 rwhp thru a 9 in rear. He is running out of fuel so once he steps up on the pump it going to get nasty.

do they have an accual " kit" buy it, put it on and go?
i know we will have to tune it. we will probably do 42 pound injectors and a walbro intake at the same time just to be safe. i was thinking id like to see him around 525-550 rwhp for now. then i will build him a nice short block set up for boost.
he does have full bolt ons and spray on the car so its not a bone stock car, it has a good clutch, six speed inc tranny, 12 bolt full bmr suspention etc etc.

If you are going to get injectors you might want to step up to some 60 pound injectors. Especially if you are going to build a boost shortblock in the future and plan on turn ing up the wick.

A procharger might not be a bad idea if you want something to bolt on and go. You can up the boost with a pulley swap.

the reason for the 42 pounders is i have a set sitting in my tool box used for about 100 miles on my vett, so just for the stock motor they should be fine and free, so they will work. once we step up he can buy injectors and i will have my spare set back

Just keep an eye on the duty cycle, 42lb'ers will let you make good power but it's addictive.

Even though I dont have a turbo kit..I will still recommend Kentucky Turbo. Seems like all other turbo kit vendors come and go or do shady business but Josh has been on here for a while and is putting out some real nice kits. You wont have to worry whether you will recieve a kit or not.

Kentucky turbo has a good reputation but so does turbo technology, I do agree many of the builders come and go.

TTI, here is a sample of their work.

This is a BONE STOCK motor with their Twin Turbo Kit for the C5's.
