Default Tell me what you think???

i would like to turbo my stock 02 ls1 engine im a newb to turbo mainly into n20 but just poking around and saw this i know its maybe not the best but its a cheap start out for a stock motor?

I think you would be better off going with a kit that is made for your car and not one that needs so much fab work. There are tons of guys on here running ebay kits but most of them have a lot of experince and all the tools they need to fab every thing they need.

Yes do not waste your money. That is a t3 inlet and will not support the size of turbo needed to supply our engines. Look into Kentucky turbo.

DO IT ONCE AND DO IT RIGHT!! Trust me on this one.

turbos and cheap dont work together, i though i could pull mine off for 3k, then 5k, now im blowing that budget too, and thats nothing but turbo stuff. all the drivetrain and guages and etc are another story entirely.

are you fabbing it up your self? front mount or rear mount. I'm just curious cause if you are doing all the fab work then i cant see it being that expensive. I just got my car done (with exception to the IC, i needed to get it out of the shop for another project) but at this point i have somewhere around $1700 in it. And its not a cheap turbo either, but i did get a deal on it.
