Question 11 to 1 compression + forced induction.. need help

I've heard both sides argue..
I'm running roughly 11:1 compression in my ls1 motor w/o forged pistons and people are telling me to turbo the car and then I also hear a lot argue with that statement..

I need help.. I would like to at least be in the 11's in the quarter (not even sure where it runs now) but I really don't want to run nitrous..

What are your thoughts and input?

Not a problem with reasonable boost levels, appropriate fuel and/or methanol for boost level etc.

Lots of LS2 gto/tbss blower/turbo cars in this world with stock engines making big power

And "reasonable" boost levels would be about 5-8.. right?

specs on your car, auto? manual? any mods? if your only looking for high 11's, cant you do some heads/cam with bolt ons and get there. Forced induction is not cheap.

Yeah I don't have all the specs but i do have and automatic, headwork and cam.. balanced crank.. a custom cam correct kit.. It is slightly possible I am already in the 11's but ya know WE ALL always could use a little more speed.. haha..

You do need to know the exact specs on high compression setup to safely dial in the amount boost you can run.
