Default Meth injection recommendation

Based on quaility, dependability, ease of set up, customer support, AND price, which progressive alcohol injection system would you recommend for a H/C blower car (650+rwhp) that is NOT a weekend race car.

I have 2 Labonte Motorsports systems no problems. Their boxes are sold by a couple companies....

On my rearmount I have a progressive MAF two stage shooting an M5 then a second M5 at 10 psi and on my drag car I have two stage 7 or 7 and a 10 that come in at 10 psi

yeap. My brother runs the labonte stage 2 and 40psi in his evo and loves it. Im ordering a stage 1 since im running low(ish) boost and dont really need the progessive controller.

Two surprises so far;

1. I thought Devils own was supposed to be a really good kit
2. Alkycontrol is leading by quite a bit, and it is almost twice as much $$ as some of the other kits.
I know you "get what you pay for", but is that kit overkill for a street car that may see some regular boost, but not HIGH boost very often?

Exactly..to be honest..the expensive kits with the progressive controllers aren't needed. Most v8 guys dont run(or even need to run) over 15psi on the street..and if you think about how fast they built boost they arent really even needed. Someone like my brother with a 4 cylinder running 40psi(on the street) in his Evo needs all the bells and whistles. Im getting the stage 1 kid that has a 250psi pump and is safe for pure meth. My bros had his kit for over a year with no issues so ill work with that.

x2 on cooling mist. Owner is really cool and will help you out as well. The controler is very tuneable as well.

I ve used most of them. I really like devils own. Lots of parts, options, easy to order, good customer service and a fair price.

That was one of the big surprises to me. I had heard a lot of good things about the D.O. kits, and the price is very reasonable, but yours was the very first vote for it.
It is obvious that the Alkycontrol kit is the favorite with the LSX crowd here, but as I stated earlier, IS it more suited for someone that is racing every weekend, and has TUNED their car (lean AFR and raised timing) to optimise the power WITH meth? I am NOT going to raise timing or lean the AF, but will only use it for the safety and any power from the cooling effect, but do want it to be tunable and dependable.

There is a thread around here some place, that testing on the dyno showed straight water to be best for hp. With conditions.....first and foremost, is that you have enough fuel, ijector and pump. And that you increase timing...

I, and many people use meth as a supplimental fuel, cause its easy to max out a 340 pump, and 60's. But very costly to go bigger....You can make 600-700 hp with a single 340 pump, with meth. Luois even made 82x....I think, maybe more on 60's. Even he admitted that it was living on the meth and a lot of it.

I ordered devils own on tuesday....probably be here friday. Its not a "high" end kit, but its effective, cost effective, and the support is good, and parts are easy to get.

Its just a controlled leak.

It sounds like I'm being argumentative, but I'm really just trying to "ask" the right questions.
I'm not planning on adding any timing or leaning it out because I really don't need to make anymore hp. I feel I'm PASS borderline already at 650+ on a stock 98 shortblock.
The consensus has seemed to be that the cooling effect and added octane of 50/50 mix, is EXTREMLY effective in adding a level of safety on a high hp FI engine. The side benifit is that based on several post from guys that have JUST added meth/water (no timing adjustment) is they actually do did pick up a few hp, while NOT putting their engine at risk IF for some reason the meth injection malfunctions.
A dependable kit that is easy to program, for a reasonable price, would be a perfect setup Finding it by asking you guys instead of the vendors, is what I hope to do.

No I understand what your saying. I dont run any boosted car without it for safety. I was just stating that testing showed that straight water is best for power and safety unless you need the meth as fuel. If someone picks up power with no tuning changes, then it was probably lean on gas alone. Ofcourse alittle meth doesnt hurt, I was just referencing a decent test done by someone here on the board.

BTW I ordered from devils own n tuesday about noon my time (pacific) and I received a modded kit thursday evening. If I get it on today, and the wind doesnt close the track (hi winds today) then maybe Ill get a decent pass tonight.

I have trunkmount AIS going into my 99TT. I got stainless line option, dual nozzle setup. Not planning on 100% meth just the 50/50 type of thing.
I got deluxe system with controller and have a cool tank it comes with ,basically fuel cell that will go on my package shelf.
