Default Best stock head for forged 370" FI motor

Hi, I'm building a forged 370 and going big single or twins. What is the best stock head for boost? i'm gonna try and set the C/R to around 9.8:1. Would the stockers need larger valves for this FI setup?

243s for that setup. 317s are the same thing with larger chambers. You could use either depending on your piston. What are your goals?

317s work well. with studs.
AFR are some of the best aftermarket heads for boost. due to ther thcker decks.

While 800whp can be done on stock heads, if you want it to be reliable and may want more in the future, I'd look into something like AFR, TFS or the like with a thicker deck.

I second the aftermarket head/thicker deck which is better for boost apps. But to answer your question; 317s are your best best for factory heads and boost.

Cool, Thanks for the info. Just got off the phone with a buddy that's a World Products dealer. are the Warhawk LS heads any good? He can get me a heluva deal on bare castings right now. He said to go with the 235's or the Warhawk ls7 12* head. What do you think?

you can get as cast TFS 220cc heads for around $1650. Get the LS2 version which are designed for larger bores. They supposedly make 10rwhp less than the fully CnCd versions.
