Default Not making boost? Check this out...

Since I had so freaking many after I bought my supercharged SS and took it in for a "once over", I figured I'd share my list 'o leaks. Maybe it will help someone else pinpoint a leak.

PCV Valve - boost was leaking into the crankcase.

EGR Gasket - the 98-99 LS1 intake manifold has 1 bolt on the EGR causing it to rock under boost and leak.

FMIC - The procharger air intercooler was leaking from the place they stamped their logo into the aluminum. The stamping pushed too far and created pinhole leaks.

T-connector - A regular T evidently doesn't cut it. It works for vacuum, but it will leak boost. It was replaced with copper compression fitting.

Couplers - Not really a leak, but it was identified as a restriction because the pieces were pushed too far into the coupler.

Hope it helps!

I'm guessing that they are talking about the 90 and 45* couplers. If you push the pipe too deep it will get in the bend and block part of the air stream.
