Default boost psi vs map kpa reading

has anyone ever experienced there map kpa ,when logged with efi live or something like it, to be different, way different than what the boost gauge shows? and that is with the GM 2 bar map (BARO) from the cobalt i think but it is the correct one to use.

What do you mean? Anything about 105(i think) kpa is considered boost. What are your logs showing?

depends on your cam. 40-70 kpa. 0-100 is vacuum (no boost). Mine idles around 50-55 kpa and vacuum on the gage reads 15-16.

so i guess that kpa conversion would be accurate as long as your map is scaled correctly??

we had trouble scalling it correctly

Just remember that vacuum is in Hg not PSI. So the conversion formula is different.
