turbo is plenty big, get a .96 hotside, if you wanna be snazzy, get a 1.15 and a spool valve, or hell get a .96 and a spool valve (divided inlet flange)

get a good return pump, i had luck with, and so have some others, the shurflo line of pumps, read back in zombies thread for the part number, i cant remember, i could sell you mine if your interested, i still have all my gto rearmount stuff.

ebay intercooler will work fine, you probably dont NEED meth, but it will help, especially if you are on the fritz on your fuel system. a single walbro in the tank will do 500whp (but remember, its a STOCK MOTOR). and they are only like 110 bucks or something cheap like that.

im not sure what you are looking for, sure the ls1 will live at 500whp. make sure the tune is spot on, go to you local muffer shop and start welding some pipe up. There is tons of rearmount threads, look up ZL1killa, i think is the name, he did a rearmount camaro, zombie, longrange4u, etc.

best thing i can tell you to do is take your time. Be very specific about where you want your turbo mounted. single 2.5-3" up one side of the tunnel and a single 2.5-3" up the other. If you have long tubes ditch them.

wrap the **** out of your exhaust, dont use cheap *** clamps, and use the least amount clamps possible, IE. weld as many joints as you can. make sure the BOV is before located between ic and maf, not after the maf.

get a GREAT TUNE!

oh, make sure you waste gate and BOV work before going ***** out. start with a small spring in the gate and work your way up. since your only gonna do 7lbs anyway, get a .5 bar spring.

tial, jgs, great products IMO

Make sure you have no oil problems. Guy on ls1gto.com had some problems with oil staying in the turbo and working its way past the seals after shut off.

get a manual boost controller for like 20 so the wastegate doesnt start opening before 7psi. it will feel build boost quicker and be more responsive.

ok thanks for the info everything sounds good. im looking for like 520-540.
do i really need a intercooler? i want to run the meth kit its an AIS meth kit. they say u can use the windsheld washer fluild. at that hp goal of 520-540 would i be ok to run one intake pump with the meth. and what would i have to set the boost at to make that hp. i know that i dont have the best cam for this setup, but do you guys think i will have any problems running it.
cam size
duration .236 .242
lift .617 .622
lobe separation 112.0
and it put down 407.04 whp
thanks again for the help

cam "would" work but you know its not ideal, If i were you, i would look into picking up a ZO6/ls6 cam with better springs and retainers, a lot of guys running that cam and its stupid cheap
