Default few procharger questions

so im going a different route with my build and going to procharge my 383. my compression ratio will be around 9.75 to 1. so how much boost would it be able to handle? also who sells a good fmic without breaking the bank and is there anywhere i could buy a kit minus the headunit?

If this is on stock bottom end, I'd say 10# is the max you should let it see and don't let it rev past 7k.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

A lot of people just buy the above items and come up with the below items on their own, which is why I separated them.

Upper/Lower Fan Shroud

Installation Instructions from an old customer named Ed.
Hopefully this helps.

ProCharger offers a universal 1300HP air to air intercooler 3.5" inlet/Outlet $1325.00 shipped
Universal 3.5" tubing kit $180.00

With a good tune and stock style heads you'll be good for approx 16 psi of boost. If you add heads with a thicker deck such as AFR 225's, you can run 18 to 20 psi of boost with a good tune. Bob

EPP used to have a good FMIC for a decent price. Too bad they dont have it. I think you can piece one together yourself cheaper than that.

Yes, we did indeed at the old EPP shop, however, this ProCharger universal 1300HP air to air intercooler is a far better intercooler. Bob

16 psi with 9.75/1 is just fine. You can run high 8's-low 9's with an 31x2x4 intercooler from CX Racing, which is what I was using on my '99 Z28. Bob

I ordered one from CXracing. They are very well priced and from the feed back they seem to do a good job at cooling.
