Default procharger inlet hat?

i bought a used procharger kit and i am trying to piece this kit together. i have two parts on this inlet hat that i am not sure what to do with. i am running the red procharger blow-off valve so what do i do with the larger hole where you typically hook up the cheap procharger valve? also, there is the bronze colored nipple on this inlet hat. am i supposed to run a hose from the top of the blow off valve to this nipple or what is it used for? thanks!

For the large hole, you can put a small filter on it, or just cap it off.

The bronze fitting is for the new location of the PCV hose.

what is the benefit of running a filter off of that larger hole? i don't see much of a benefit when the air filter is mounted close by.

also, where does the hose run to off of the top of the red procharger surge valve?

The hose that comes off the big red goes to a vacuum source. I just put a small filter on the hole in the inlet

You have to do something with that hole anyways, so why not put a filter on there for added flow?

I figured I would just cap it off instead of buying a new filter. I already have the larger filter instead of the normal K&N that ships out from procharger.

The big red surge valve that I have did not come with a hose since I bought the kit used. I didn't realize it went to a vacuum source. I thought it was just air that vented into the atmosphere.

Without vacuum, the valve would not function. Tee into the hvac line back on the passenger side of the firewall.

Here is an old copy of the ProCharger installation instructions that a customer of mine put on the internet. Several things have changed, such as the pn# for the 8 rib balancer to use these days is 918853, but these instructions should help you out. Bob
