Default New Turbo Pic (Something Funny)

Ok guys be honest how do you think this will do on a 427. Should I go with twin’s maybe? LOL

Thought everyone here might like this, it was a Christmas gift from one of my best friends. Please pray for him while he is overseas in Afghanistan for the next 10 months, his name on here is Sube. Thanks everyone hope you enjoy.

Dam even using bendy straws for the cold side I am not certain that many of these would fit in an fbody.

I hope a 427 can spool it. Might need a quick spool valve.

Now there’s a thought I didn't think of, I will have to keep that in mind as it would be stealthy too.

rofl now that’s the kind of advice I need to make this project work. I want to try and get all 3lbs of boost off the line so I can max this thing out.

The website is on the card but it got covered it up some trying to take the picture with my so so camera phone. I hope this doesn't cause problems I know they are a non sponsor but I think this could help everyone who wants to build a compound turbo system. http://www.turbokeychains.com/

That would be so sweet to see something like that work. I would build a turbo charged R/C firebird for sure.

They already make superchargers for them. I can see a turbo on one eventually.

Heck I didn't know that, I have always wanted a nitro powered R/C car but it has not been in the budget yet. I would love to hear what a turbo charged nitro motor sounds like when they do it.

Oh dam the oil lines now that might be a little tricky for sure. and look they have intercoolers too so I won't have to worry about it getting sucked in. http://intercoolerkeychains.com/ I will have to find out if they are bar and plate and how efficient they are.

Yah I am starting to wonder if I will be able to move enough air with this combo but they do have a YouTube video of someone hooking it to a leaf blower. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zy1EoHzG9QI

Sure does here is a good video off you tube from the place that makes them. If you blow in it yourself it does make a cool noise that varies with the speed in which you blow through it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQxvo..._order&list=UL Don't know how real of a test this is or how exactly he measured it but still fun to watch.

Ouch sorry to hear that, was it a roots style or a centrifuge style blower. I don't know much about nitro cars so thanks for sharing your info. I guess if they did build a turbo for one it would be for show only maybe but still a cool factor if it worked.

I had a supercharger on a RC car thing made the car sick fast and major hp but it was the biggest bitch trying to keep it for slipping belts or throwing them off.

My lord dont even talk about trying to tune the engine would take days to get it to run right and max max power. If you did one really long hard run at max power its time for a new tank of gas and new piston

Why they blowing in the outlet? Also they are measuring pressure where they are blowing not from the turbo.
