On the right track to FI?
I recently purchase a 1998 camaro z28 with 49,000 miles that has been meticulously maintained with 3000 mile mobil 1 changes and just recently has been given royal purple oil. The car is an A4 with the only mods being a catback, lid, and blackwing filter.
My end goal is to have a high boost running STS turbo car.
Am I on the right track as to what I need?
Forged Pistons
Forged Rods
Forged Crank
Fast 90/90 Intake Manifold and Throttle Body
3200 Stall Converter
3.42 Gears?
STS Turbo and Air to Air Intercooler
42# SVO injectors
Ported LS6 oil pump
What else? Anything else? I want to run 10+ psi and goal is about 550 whp.
Any suggestions? I've heard dont get headers because stock manifold build more boost? I've heard you don't need a cam or heads? Should I get one anyways? Let me know your opinions. Thank you.

Stock manifolds will hold heat in better than headers, creating a faster response and more boost. You won't need heads/cam to meet your goal, but they wouldn't hurt, especially a cam. A popular choice is the LS6 cam with a stiff valve spring.
FAST intake really isn't needed and some people have had problems with them under boost, an LS6 is a very popular intake and is much cheaper.
Gearing and stall depends on what you want to do with the car.. track, highway rolls, street race?
Like IT SS said, a stock crank will work fine. Tearing into the stock short block at that power level really isn't 100% necessary, but will provide insurance and the ability to up the boost when you get bored.
Be sure to read some build threads with STS kits, there are plenty of things that can be revised on them.

Looks to me like your just looking to throw money away. You may be surprised what stock parts will get you. A ls6 cam, ls6 intake, truck manifolds stock short block will get you your 550 rwhp. I had 560 rwhp and went 10.4s at 128 - 132 mph depending on wheel spin.
Also it was done with a budget 67mm ebay bought turbo.

This is majorly for street racing and small track use. Should I get a stall even with a LS6 cam? will it help me with my 0-60 and acceleration? and what gears would be good for a turbo? would the stall help me build boost before a launch by being able to launch at 3200 rpm?

What do I need from the STS website? http://ststurbo.com/camaro_ls1 they have lots of different packages, some seem very overpriced for what they are. Is the tune package worth it? is that way to much for an IC?

What good is having all that power if you can't get it to the ground? Suspension, tires, stall, rear end. For ***** and giggles just read through many of the build threads in this section. You may want to consider other components and all that power is going through your stock trans and rear end.

I managed to fit a Pt88 in mine, no issues over heating. An get this, no radiator changes. Stock radiator, stock position. clean look.
Here's what happen when I went from the worn out Pt67 Ebay Turbo to the new pt88. At 10 psi it feels like 750 rwhp. Picture below is at 12 pounds at 60 roll. This never happened even at 17 pounds with pt67.
