I'd go with at least a 7 heat range plug (BR7EF). Possibly even an 8.

TR6 is going to be way too hot by most peoples standards.

do those heads require a .750 or .705 reach and gasketed or taper seat?

You cant assume, call and find out. Most aftermarket heads require 3/4" reach.

C'mon this isn't difficult, look on their website they specify factory style/length like a TR55 just like AFRs do.

Your right this isn't that difficult so buy whatever plugs you want. You asked for the correct ones. AFR requires a 3/4" reach plug and the TR55s are .691. Factory heads dont use a .750 reach plug while most if not all of the aftermarket ones require a .750 reach.

I guess I don't understand the pissing match. He can use the regular OE style taper seat plugs just like you can with an AFR head or a stock head depending on how far he wants the plug to project in the chamber and as far as I'm concerned pulling the tip out of the chamber is preferred for the build he is doing which is why I suggested the plugs I did. He asked for suggestions on a place to start and you are making a big deal out of something pretty inconsequential but whatever.

Since you asked for the correct plug.

After 2 minutes of searching, the edlebrock head uses a .708 x 14mm tapered plug. Get the Autolite AR94 racing plug.

An AR94 is just a projected tip version of the plugs that I listed in the first place with damn near identical lengths. Personally I don't run projected tip plugs on any bigger power build but that's just my preference.

Oh really, what was listed on the box and what's the NGK stock number? NGK doesn't refer to any 7 heat range or colder copper plug as a TR anything.

Show me a picture, I would bet it says BP7EFS on the box since a TR7 doesn't exist.
