Default Procharger not seeing boost??!

I have a p1sc1 installed on my 2001 camaro ss and

can not see more than 4 psi even though the set up

is for 8 psi. I have a 6" crank pulley and 3.20"

procharger pulley with a 6 rib setup

I was afraid of that, I ruled everything else out...so a 8 rib conversion is my only option now?

ATI balancer, ProCharger crank pulley, blower pulley, longer bolts and stand-offs, 8-rib idler, and an 8-rib belt.

Picture of the head unit? What did it come off of? Make sure its a reverse rotation and not a standard rotation. If its standard it won't make more then a couple psi.

I checked to make sure that the impeller direction was set up properly after reading in other threads that it might be reversed.. The unit was off a t/a if I remember correctly..I think I'll leave it at 4 psi for now and slowly piece together the 8 rib conversion

Is it the proper direction? Tighten the belt up and see how it does.

Yea the head unit is the proper direction so I ruled that out.. The belt is tensioned all the

way.. There is really fine dust on the pulley area, but it's in low amounts it's not

noticeable Unless you swipe across it

Compressor relief valve mounted the wrong way? Air filter / intake blocked? All compressor side pipes are connected?

The bypass valve is mounted with the hex head on the valve facing the inlet hat/supercharger..the filter is new and there no sign of and collapsing on the intake piping, but it's hard to tell. I also checked the plumbing with soap an water for leaks

6, 8 or 10 rib setup, you should pin the crank. You don't want that spinning on the crank as it will mess it up. Plus it would eliminate another possibility of what it is.

I agree with everyone else about pinning your crank but I also HIGHLY doubt that is related to your current issue. Check the inlet for restriction and make sure none of the couplers are collapsing. Do you have the means of pressure testing your piping/intercooler? If the blower is the correct rotation and the belt isn't slipping horribly it should make more then 4psi unless you have a very bad leak. What bypass valve are you running? Is it operating properly?

I might be able to rig up a presssure testing system from the intake tube or the splitter after the head unit, I checked many times for a leak but this method would rule it out for good. I just replaced the bypass valve with a new one. I figured if the crank pulley was slipping I would definitely hear and see the pulley wobble but I did go under to check and it was fine

Im also inclined to agree its not slipping because I thought due to the rotation it would loosen the bolt and walk off the pulley rather quickly, however if it does, my understanding is that the crank is trashed almost instantly. Id pin it ASAP.

*Pics* So I rigged up the pressure testing system and both of the intercoolers have small leaks in between the fins where you see the soap bubbles gorming..how can I fix this?

Seems like the bubbles are forming deep sighing the intercoolers so I'm not sure how to approach repairs
