3000+ horsepower for sure.

Seriously just imagine what it would do over here in our fastest DR class with a min weight of 2900lbs!

Put it this way, Keith Berry races at 27xx raceweight. He went 4.08@189 same night at the same track. 600 lbs weight difference. We are right there.

This car would hurt feelings at 2700 lbs.

It's actually an interesting comparison since Keith runs twin 88s.

You're probably making more power than Keith is to be honest to be that close with that much more weight

Problem is getting it there. There's so much carbon and cutting needed to do it I question if there's even that much to take out of they're at 3320 now, and I assume that's with 100 lbs of ballast/weight moved around to balance car out.

There is about 200 lbs of ballast in the car right now FWIW.

That's pretty good considering. Still a long way away from being able to race at 2770 or whatever it is that Keith can run at (get down to and have car work being 2 different #'s I would imagine).

Is there even 300 lbs that could be taken out? I remember the buildup and there wasn't a lot there that wasn't looked at initially no?

I still bet you're making more steam at that weight to be running that # than Keith is to run what he's doing. How you keep it together at that level I have no idea, big congrats are in order for that. How many runs does it see before coming apart for inspection?

You gotta point. You could take all the weight out and then the car wouldn't work.

If the car ever was set up for RWs, would convert to alchohol and look for ways to pull weight out. We've talked about it, and there is a list. But it sounds like ODR will be renewed for next year.

No alcohol in the odr correct? All the intercooler and water probably is a good 150, that's 350 with your ballast, getting there.

Currently in LSX ODR the rule for fuels is that supercharged and single turbo cars can run alchohol.

Anthony would still need to run the cooler for the trans I think.

He could cut out the floors. He could also go 4 link I guess.

Those both would dump a lot of weight. Makes sense on rules, trans cooler is tough, wonder if a pit cool box with tranny fluid like what you see some guys do for engine cooling would work.

So i'm assuming the OP have a trans cooler attached to your water tank then?

That brings up a question that pertains to my build although not on the level as your by any means.....but does an electric trans cooler like a Derale w/ fan not suffice for your needs?

That's what i was going to use on my car but shoud i be looking into something else?

I wish i could afford a gangster fluid x-changer for trans or water!

Don't ask me as PSJ on that I just put a derale in the back of the car with a fan on mine. If they ever introduce the electric pump for a th400 case, even the after market I'll do it. My junk is slow no comparison to this car.

That's what I was thinking though the electric glide pump if the car has a ice and run that thru a cooler box. Same for motor unless it's filled completely
