Default Went to the track for the first time! 383ci + D-1SC

Finally got out to the track after owning the car for 10 years! I also just installed a new motor and D1SC kit so it was time to put them to the test. Only made 2 passes for the night, but my best was 11.46 @ 117.95. 2nd pass was 12.22 @ 122. Street tires!

It is very easy to get hooked (addicted) to the track. Congratulations. Bob

1.9 60', makes 6XXrwhp through a 9" w/3.70's. Spun off the line and also had to let off at the end so I wouldn't get the boot.

Nice runs. It has a 10 in it for sure if you can get some traction.

I have had these tires since before I put in the blower/motor combo, so it's just a matter of time before I swap them out for some D/R's. I'll probably end up getting some track only wheels/slicks so I can use these up on the street.

I don't see why with a good set of tires he can't pull 1.5-1.6 60' times, which would drop a good .5 off his quarter time. My guess, with a good set of tires, a 10.6-10.8 would be pretty comfortable guess.

what size blower pulley you running? id say to hell with DR's and just grab some 26'' slicks as far as the track goes. that plus dialing in that suspension will make that car shine. gunna be hurtin some feelings for sure. for street tires i love my nt05r's personally. they got me low 1.6 60's with 400rwhp na. great tire. loves heat.

Quick Reply: Went to the track for the first time! 383ci + D-1SC
