With just reading the BSnet, i think the most common is a magnafuel pump with big lines, 120lb injectors with rails, stock intake and TB, ls9 head gaskets and studs, s475/80 with a 2.5" hotside with flipped manifolds

im more than sure you would need to go forged do haveing stock high compression pistons, you would need low compression pistons to get around that power.

It can be done with stock pistons and rods. Just dont think its going to last forever.

Not disagreeing but please explain. If his block is the HO aluminum one then the pistons are supposed to be flat topps and its a 10.1:1 engine if Im not mistaken. Then iron ones are the dished ones with 9.5:1 or so. No???

The HO is flat top with 9.9 to 1. Doesnt really matter. 9.5-10 to 1 is low compression these days.
