Default bone stock 5.3 s472, when should i stop

So i have 100% bone stock internal 5.3, FAST 102mm intake/TB, 80lb injectors with FAST rails, 60mm jgs wastegate, truck manifolds flipped with custom crossover front mount t6 s472, a1000 external pump, 3inch hotside/ 4 inch coldside FMIC...

Have almost everything to throw the car together and im wondering where i should have the tuner stop when it comes that time. I am building forged motor with cam and springs so i can just swap accesories over and retune for ton of power. I am not opening this motor up at all. Im putting moroso pan on it so it fits in the car and thats it.

Looking to still have some fun with it when im driving it around. Probably couple tracks days tops before the new motor would be finished. Cars 2800lbs and th400 with 3800stall. 450ish???

What kind of fuel are you running? When you say " 3" hotside" are you saying you have a 3" crossover? Also, valve springs are gonna hate you

Sorry, turbo to front mount is 3" front mount to TB is 4"... its 2.5" vband on manifolds and 2.5" pipes into merge then t6 flange.

Even with stock cam the valve springs get sketchy?

The boost blowing in to the face of the valve will try to hold them open or push them open. It will not matter that it is still a stock cam or not.

Do you have PN for the lunati springs? I guess ill pick those up and they should be good when i get a turbo cam later on. Need them for the 5.3 heads.

get good ones..i found this out the hard way.. i bought some springs that are rated to .600 lift .. but only had 105 seat pressure... the ls6 springs had more seat pressure than this.. now i have to do this a second time.. with some duel springs.

yes 1218s from scogg and dickey auto parts are like 140 dollars and will handle a decent sized cam and 22lbs of boost, and even a 125 shot on top, i promise.

you might be able to make 12lbs or so on stock springs. ive done 16lbs on stock springs but it kills them fast and the powerband of the car will go to dogshit

just do springs and hit it with 20lbs

the yellow springs, ls2, ls6 or whatever ls3 people call them everything, fail at the exact same point as stock junkyard or brand new 2010 truck springs, about 12psi and they will get worse over time and the harder you push them lol.

ive tried them all in a row on the turbo truck
