bought cam from for sale forum=wrong cam
Hi I bought a cam from the for sale forum and the guy advertised it as the EPP blower cam and the specs were 232/240 .598/.608 115lsa
Well fast forward to my long block is done and going to set up and degree the cam and the lift is not matching the specs he provided. Got the number off the back of the cam and called comp cams. They sent me the specs for it and it is: 235/247 .647/.657 114Lsa. WTF!!!!!
I am changing the springs and going to run it but what do you think? Motor specs are: just rebuilt 370cu inch, eagle crank, callies rods, weisco -11cc pistons, all pro heads 240cc with 71cc combustion chambers(9.4:1 static C.R.)
160lb injectors,Megasquirt3, PT88 t4 flange with .96 A/R
Car is 63 chevyII 3300lbs with me in it, 3.25 gears, 10.5" slicks TH350 with a brake and a 35 to 250 shot of Nitrous for launch. Car has gone 10.1 at 133 with a Bone stock LQ4 and above stated turbo/injectors/ecm at 15.5psi boost. Thanks, James

You have a lightweight car, it may fly with that cam! Bob

Thanks guys for the input. It is very easy for me to change in the car if it does not work. The motor is complete and the cam is degree'd and there is plenty of piston to valve clearance. I am installing the motor tomorrow and will let you know how works
