Default 9to1 cr ms3 cam and boost?

id like to know what u guys think. i put the ms3 in for all mortor and nitrous. i like the all motor coppy iddle muscle car type sound, but i have some one telling me i can boost my car how it is and keep the chop with boost. what do u guys think? i know the over lap would bleed out some boost but will i be able to make some good power? im also thinking about puting everything in to a 370 ci father down the line.

still not sure if to go procarged or turbo i have a good deal on a turbo and i already have the truck manifolds for the set up.

id like to know what u guys think? the car is a track and once a month driver not much street. rest of my mods on sig.

thanks in advanced

I tried that same cam in my 5.3 with twin turbos.
It lacked some power below 4000 rpm, which should be expected, but really rocked once it got into boost.
With your 3600 stall you might not notice the lack of low end torque.
Mine was on a 113 LSA.

RUN IT!!
big cams love boost, just need some RPM to get it to work. I would do a blower with your setup it will work great with the big exhaust lobe

Or just buy one of Aruns cams. (need you to make me one on a higher LSA, btw, bud). I'm going to take Chris Crawford's C6 with your stage 5 and beat the 6 speed C6 1/4 record(which I hold). I'll be in contact soon if you can get me a higher LSA with your name on it.

i have a stock block what would i be able to put down?

There is one thing to remember though-the lobes need to be right. Unfortunately the lobes on the MS3 and MS4 are not boost friendly or valvetrain friendly for the matter.

also if u guys can help me out with sizing of the turbo or charger would be grate!
turbo i know i should go with 78mm around there. charger i have no idea about them.

other questions i have.
will a pro-charger blow off valve work on a turbo? i think they would be the same but just asking.
inner-coolers should be the the same and piping should be the same correct? I'm asking so i can start buying and piecing together something and then decide what route to go with.

Let's do it Arun. I'm in Dallas. Flew up today, picked up the car, 800 mile drive so I stopped. Crazy driving a head/cam car, flooring it, and having no boost come on at 3000-3500rpm.

10.5:1 compression, keep my heads, your cam spec. Tried contacting Doug at ECS and sent him a link for input, but haven't heard back from them. I'll get in contact with you this week to brainstorm. Thanks for your interest in wanting to help me out.
