home built turbo setups C6 manifolds?
I have been searching all sorts of different words and even on google has anyone tried the C6 manifolds for a turbo kit? I know modular turbo had a kit that they advertised as:
T4 turbo C6 Manifold AC system With Out Manifolds
$949.00= cross over pipe, 3INCH DOWN PIPE "customer supply's manifolds"
for 1000 I would without question just on that BUT when I called them the "new" price is right around 2,000 that seems a little high to me. Please do not PM me with turbo kits you have forsale I do not care I am simply asking a question if anyone has tried to fit C6 manifolds onto a FBody while retaining AC. Thank you.

people have done it theirs a couple of threads on it but it seems that they have a problem keeping the temps down. i see alot of people say their a/c works but not if their sitting still. which to me is the most important time for it to work haha. i was looking at doing this myself but im prob gonna go rear mount because i rather deal with a little lag then crappy a/c plus id rather not deal with standing up the rad.

High temps and the a/c not working while sitting still has nothing to do with a c6 manifold kit. It's cause the fans are not pulling enough air through the rad and condensor. I have that issue on my rearmount setup with stock gto manifolds.....
