Default Who's making big HP numbers on stock fuel rails?

Trying to find out how far the stock rails have been pushed. Lets hear about some big hp setups.

-stock fuel rails, what injector?
-boost refrenced FPR? return style?
-fuel type, pump/race or e85?
-in my search ive seen the term "modified stock rails" but no one goes into detail. "modified" how? can anyone elaborate?
-have you run into problems or found limitations with the stock rails?

And of course if you have pics detailing your setup, please post 'em up.

793rwhp/939rwtq on e85 and an m15 meth nozzle. I have 80lb/hr injectors @58psi, but running 73psi at full boost. I did weld a second inlet to my factory crossover that is fed from my second fuel pump. My injectors are maxed (105%) but fuel pressure and supply seem steady. Ran this way for 15,000 aggressive street miles and 100+ 1/4 mile passes.

That's good info. Thanx. Any pics of the setup or where you welded the second inlet?

855rwhp, 800 plus in another car, 900 plus(estimated in another car, made 808 on lot less boost), all on e85. Stock rails with no modifications, running mallory regulator before the rails and -6an line from the regulator to the rails. We have probably 35-40k miles combined with this setup and no issues. We do run lots of fuel pressure tho as not wanting to run big injectors.

Everyone who says you can't run the stock rails and bigger power hasn't done it, hasn't tried, mostly just heard on the internet you need upgraded rails at "600hp" or whatever bullshit people(who are selling the rails/fuel systems) are telling them.

If you are already Forced induction and all that jazz, why would you not just spring for some aftermarket rails? You can find them in the classifieds for literally like $75.

Then you need to get the fittings and lines, price all adds up for no gain for 90% of people.

^This.
If having shiny chunks of anodized aluminum flanking either side of your intake appeals to you then have at it. No denying it looks cool but I think you're missing the point. As skinnies and everyone here has shown it's an unnecessary expense.
Let's keep it coming fellas. Hopefully it'll give others some ideas and they can better spend that money somewhere else in the build.

Nice. You think the rails were a restriction or just running out of fuel pump?

I'm just going to guess but it was probably running out of injector.

We just did a stock bottom end ls1 2001 Trans Am that made 800 rwhp 800 rwtq through a t56 and m9 rear. Only fuel mods being twin 255's in tank and 60 pound injectors. Stock lines and rails. Pump gas with meth. Maxed out the fuel system at 800.

Im newb at this, How big is the line from the fuel tank to the regulator, also -6an? I just installed -6an for the entire fuel system and have been bummed out because I've heard too many people say I won't be able to run over 600-700whp or run e85 in such a small line. I have turbo'd 5.3l stroker with 1000cc injectors

This is true and oftentimes it's best to just start a new thread but getting back to your question I've been told the factory lines can handle upwards of 850-900 hp. If your going to build a fuel system and plan on upping the ante on engine power then build a fuel system you can grow with. A one and done kinda deal and since I plan on running E85 and eventually going to boost in the 99 car I'm doing -8 feed and -8 return.
