Sleeper......or Custom?

Sleeper......or Custom?
I plan to attend LS Fest this year and a few things have put me in a dilema. First, I have a 4" Harwood Cowl hood on right now. The reason is because I was running 496's for the past several years. With my 5.3, Vic Jr. and Tall Elbow I, down pipes, I still needed the cowl hood. Since I put on a cowl hood I put on a set of Welds. Recently I swapped out the Vic Jr for a Pro Flo Xt. After moving some items around and redoing my passenger side down pipe, I am now able to fit my Twin Turbo set up under a stock hood.
I have always loved the sleeper look and am now contemplating saleing my Weld Wheels and putting my 15x8's and the 315/60's on them if they will fit. I would also put my 15x7 rally rims up front with a pair of 215/70's. I would still paint them black and if I can find them put some dog dish hubcaps on. I of course would take a scotch brite pad to them to dull them up a little. I could then sale my 4" harwood hood and put a stock SS hood on. I think it would be pretty cool to pull up to LS fest with a full factory interior, rally rims, stock hood, full exhaust and drop some mid 9's. It would only add another 50-75lbs to the total weight. I actually think the car would look better. What do you all think? Go sleeper or keep it custom?
Here is a current picture of the car and with the new Pro Flo intake.

I like going back to a stock hood, but you should put some 28's on back not 30's....
Jim's Chevelle was quite the sleeper, feast your eyes: http://www.chevelles.com/classifieds...=47691&cat=500

Thanks. It's just too easy to do. And since I have never been to Super Chevy or LS fest most people would have not seen my car before. Should get some interesting reactions.

I'm a huge fan of stock hoods, if you can fit one. As far as wheels, I would keep the welds, unless you widen the original wheels. No way I'd run a 315 on an 8" wheel. I wouldn't even run a 275 on an 8" wheel, even though it works fine.

Posted on the Chevelle board too, but rally wheels with or without dog dishes will do nothing but ruin the look of the car. And honestly with the other exterior mods you have it will never be a sleeper anyway.
No sense adding weight and uglying the car up just to fool a few strangers for 40 seconds before you hit the burnout box...if even that long.
Car is too nice to ugly up IMO
