Default Manifolds for 1st gen Bird

I have a set of new C6 manifolds I planned to use on my 67 but also have a new set of truck (non egr) manifolds that I can hack up to make fit facing forward with v-bands. For the driver's side, there is no way I can get the truck manifold or C6 to work facing down... I know there is some sort of LS4 manifold that'll fit with angle milling. I'd like to move my coils back to the valve covers and this is the only way so as usual, any help would greatly be appreciated!

Truck manifolds down and forward on both sides. Angle mill the drivers side 5.5 degrees and attach a short piece of Sch10 or Sch40 pipe and vband. The Trailblazer right manifold on the left side offers slightly more clearance around the steering box due to smaller sizing.

Like this. Use Vette or Holley bracket for accessories.

Passenger side, cut it up big time and again weld in a pipe of pipe with a vband. Almost straight forward and a little down to clear the heater outlets. The modified truck manifolds offer more clearance over the LS4 manifold near the motor mount. Ive used both.

Your welcome.

Sell them, get the holley bracket, reuse your alternator, find a generic type 2 p/s pump from pretty much any mid 90's and up gm car, buy the Vette p/s resevoir and pulley off Fleabay, the press in p/s pump fitting from GM or Quik Perf, and a balancer and tensioner from Rock Auto. The water pump will work with either.

Then replicate this crossover.

With a final product like this.

Whoops, I wasn't following... I already have the alt on the passenger head and power steering pump mounted in the stock drivers side head location (does that work?).

But be honest... which do you prefer on the DS... The LS4 for more clearance around the steering box, or the truck mani for more clearance around the motor mount?

The LS4 has to be upside down on the drivers side. Didnt look as good as down and forward imo. The LS4 on the passenger side sticks down a little farther and is close or hits the frame and motor mount if you have the engine set down in the chassis very far.

Truck manifolds ftw imo.
