Default 38MM to 44MM Adapter for wastegate?

I was wondering who has tried one of these. I saw a 38MM 2 bolt to 44MM Vband adapter, I wanted to know if they make any difference, or if its just a waste since the pipe to the flange is a 38MM. Any input is helpful, thanks

Jon can also weld a bigger flange onto the hotside. He did it for my RG-45 wastegate!

I have a 38mm 2 bolt to 44mm v band on my setup...haven't had the chance to test if it holds boost or not.

well, it seems like its holding up pretty good with 1999Black_Z28. I will have a very similar setup to his except with an LQ4
