Default NA to turbo build! Huron Speed kit *PICS*

The cars previous set up was the original 5.7,TSP 5.3 heads, stock ls1 intake with a 4c circle D converter 4l60e. That combination ran a 7.26 with a 1.57 60" at its first outing and never got around to running it again.

7.20 pass

down to the Parts!
Engine:
2000 5.3 long block with hand ported heads
stock ls1 intake
Ebay Head studs
Ebay roller timing chain
ARP rod bolts
215/215 112 LSA
ls7 lifters
Melling high volume oil pump
Brian Tooley valve spring kit
ABS delete
battery relocation kit

Fuel System:
Seimen 80lb injectors
Fast Rails
-8AN Feed line
Dual walbro 255's
Aeromotive Regulator

Turbo kit:
Huron Speed stainless T4 kit
3" Downpipe to Turndown
TC78 1.15AR
JGS 50mm BOV
Precision 39mm WG
18-24psi
This turbo kit was a BANG for the buck! The quality is great and Huron Speed has been very helpful so far!

Drivetrain:
Built Th350
Yank Eliminator 10" 3600
Bmr Th350 crossmember
B&M pro ratchet shifter
PST 3" seamless steel DS w/forged yokes
Stock 10 bolt and 3.42 gears

Bottom line for the new setup is to get in the 9's and have a solid 140mph street car and if the motor blows a few months down the road i have a few extra 4.8 and 5.3's put to the side!!

I chose this turbo over the new 7875 is because its half the price and i think this budge turbo will easily meet the goals i have for the car since there wont be any back pressure issues with the small cubes.

The car should come together quickly as we plan to have it ready for the TX2k13 event!! 750rwhp isnt much but it should be enough to have a little Fun!!!

a few more pictures for you guys! ran into a small issue with huron speeds alternator relocation bracket not working on a 5.3 block but i think we got it figured out! We were also able to make the stock shifter work with the TH350!

TC78 next to a s480 with race cover T-4 for another build

6LE AC vent gauge pod

awaiting my PST steel drive shaft from mwc

it looks dangerous but its sturdy as F#@%!
