Looking for pulley size input and belt options 8 rib setup
Revisiting this as my setup went from a D1 to and F1C
Setup:
5.3L Truck motor
5.3L 799 Casting with intake gasket match, deck and valve job
Tick Performance Custom Blower cam package
Procharger F1C with ????" pulley
A&A 8 rib bracket with Procharger 8 rib pulley's
Innovators West 10% OD balancer
Custom piping to Treadstone intercooler
Custom fuel system for E85
SD 80lb injectors flow matched
I am looking for help on pulley size/boost levels and what my belt options are. Looking at the impeller calculator probably looking at:
Crank Pulley 8
Blower Pulley 4.25
Step up Ratio 5.4
RPM-Engine 6400
Impeller RPM 65054
or
Crank Pulley 8
Blower Pulley 4
Step up Ratio 5.4
RPM-Engine 6400
Impeller RPM 69120
F1C has 74000 RPM max, and I am not looking to max it out. Leaning more towards 4.25.
I will be running the 5.3L truck motor with a cam package spinning it to maybe 6400 or a little more, as I want it to live for a while.
I will be running E85 and am looking for stout power numbers(would be happy at 650whp or above)
Any help appreciated.

So what size is the crank pulley?
With E85, your probably safe to low 600rwhp for a while if the tune is good since the burn from E85 is considerably cooler than gasoline (E10-15). Biggest issue with a stock motor is ringlands being taken out by factory rings.
So I'd say if your crank pulley is ~7.6-8.1", I'd run a 4.25" pulley to get about 10psi at 6500rpm. Obviously depending on the intake and exhaust setup as well as cam choice.

As you now me from the other forum. I ran a 3.85 top and 8"bottom that's perfect to 6500 to 6600rpm 74 to 75k impeller speed. Perfect fot the f1-c. I have an 8 rib 3.85 laying around. Don't need anymore since my next step will be F3.

I did what your doing i started with 4.5 top pulley it dyno at 830whp then ended with 3.85 pulley to max out blower but never got around to dyno again bcause the car came alive and gained hp where i can feel the difference big time. Then had opportunity to get f2 and that just put it over the top where i likey, but you'll want more hp it's that crazy addition we have. GL
