I sold my D1 for like 1700 real quick. goes a long way towards paying for an F1. If you wait a while and keep me in mind, i am sure ill get rid of mine sometime this year. I sell **** cheap, and it great shape. The d1 only had 4 dyno pulls on it. Still on the first bottle of oil too.

So I finally got my car back on the rack to do some work this past week end.

Found a good use for the stock K-member again

Started to remove the rest of the A/C but hang on the heat... I hate my life right now...

Point of no return

Sealing the box to the block off plate.

UMI block off plate.

Bracket for vacuum block

Satin black...

In the car.

Vacuum manifold block...

Thanks alot.

Don't like to set to many goals... They usually disappoint, but anything north of 650 at the wheels and I'll be happy.

Got around to some more work on the car this weekend...

Added a 1800-cfm 6" fan to the procharger 16" fan shroud.

Lunati 4" stroke crank came back from balancing at Texas speed. Rotating assembly was dropped off at my machine shop on Thursday, should have a short block this week

I'm not sure if one would fit with the blower head unit placement on the F-body. I'm going to see how it fits when I get the motor back in the car.

I am going to do a small stand up with the radiator. I don't have the ac any more and getting rid of the procharger plunum will let me push the radiator forward about 2-3 inches. So well see what kind of room I have and do what I can before coolant goes in the car.

I'm fabbing up a "scoop" that will bolt in where the stock air dam was, hopefully this will help quite a bit too, I'll post up some pic's when it's done. The car never over heats but temps will creep up after running it hard for some time. Just want to make sure I do all the little things I've learned over the years this time around.

Finally got all my engine parts back from Texas speed and my local machine shop... 383 bottom end is assembled

Had to space the windage tray off the main studs to clear the rod bolts and the oil pick up tube needed a little work where it mounts to the studs.

All ready for the top end, hopefully this week.

Ls9 gaskets with some copper spray...

Cadillac rear steam ports, going to vent the rears to the radiator this time around.

Clears the intake manifold, cam sensor and oil pressure sending unit.

All together

Well, the wife and kid went back to Pittsburgh for the last 2 weeks so I finally had time to get my toy out and get some work done...

The engine came out of the car on Jan-4-13 and is now back in her home as of Saturday morning. Hopefully going to get to fire it next weekend, but so far so good.

This is the 3rd time the engine has been out of the car and it took me this long to figure that one out.

So after 1-year, 20-days it was finally time to put a battery to this thing and see if she will make some noise. She fired and built oil pressure with out a hitch, it sounds angry as hell with both sides of the blower off . Now it's just finish the front mount intercooler and plumb up the meth.

Also got a Burkhart chassis bumper support for Christmas, hope is fits as well as it looks. The craftsmanship is top notch

Here's some more pics of the progress...
