Sorry for all the questions guys. Just trying to do this right the first time. my combo.. Stock 6.0 short block. 317 heads. Turbo cam. Holley high ram intake. E85 fuel thinking about a GT91 Turbo. How much power should a GT91make. How fast have you guys been with this turbo?

Mighty mouse went 8.60's iirc. That car made 1060 unlocked through a 4l80e on a t4 gt91 at 26psi, I think.

Not bad at all.. I have not bought a turbo yet. This is a max effort all out race car. Any ideas on a fair priced turbo for my combo?

Car went 8.4x iirc. The GT91 should make just enough to put the rods thru the block A good ol S480 would be a good option as well for a budget max effort stock bottom end 6.0L.

Agree with the s480. Think the GT91 is way overkill for a stock 6.0.

Seems like that 91mm wouldnt have any troubles spooling on a 408ci with a good set of heads and cam.

it does well in my setup. Match it with the right converter and its a great combo.

Haven't been on the rollers yet. Been driving around on 12psi. I lost a snap ring in the trans 2weeks ago and it's going back together this weekend. I hope 900 ish on 20 psi or so.

dudeman on here went 8.80's with no second gear on 17 lbs in a mustang. Gt91 turbo, Holley hi ram intake and the Brute speed blower cam. Fixed second gear and the boost controller crapped out ran on the spring with 14.5 lbs and went 8.90.

Just recently he changed the turbo, converter, and had the boost controller working and went 8.59. All of this on a 6.0 with L92 heads.

there are 2 other mustangs in here in the 8's with stock 6.0's

Well, you have copied his set up almost to a T so you would already know what its capable of.

only difference is I used l92 heads. it should still do work.

Yes it should. The other 2 stangs are running 317 heads and one has a TU1 cam and the other has a small reverse pattern cam.
