Give us some pics of the truck! Also, more detail on the setup would be nice. Is it a JY motor? Did you go through it? If so, what was done? Turbo size? A/R? Tranny? Truck use? Etc.

the motor has recently been rebuilt with all new bearings, polished crank, custom grind crower cam, ls6 oil pump, double roller timing chain, ported polished 317 heads pro flo xt ported to match the heads. i was running a 6an stainless steel braided for fuel pushing one inline 255. I now plan on going with the aeromotive 1000 with 10 an hose. the motor is a fresh rebuild to answer your ?? I just now want to put all this turbo/nitrous stuff together and make a bad azz combo

I want to use the truck as a grudge racer and the trans is a th400 with a 2800-3200 stall with cheeetah shifter. I want this truck to be as mean and fast as possible been watching and admiring flaco build for sometime (Only if I had that type of money)!!

well i kinda just wanted to use the nitrous to launch the truck and compensate for turbo lag. Its gotta nos cheater solenoid so theyre good to around a 350 shot but im really hoping i wont need that much, not wanting to detonate on me!!

right now i have the hotside welded up with a obx 60mm wastegate, the s400sx4 turbo, procharger big red bov, and a a/w setup with a froxen boost intercooler ,5" downpipe dumped just past the firewall. may even turn that intake around backwards and mount the intercooler under the dash .... that should look pretty good i think

I also need you guys help at helping me build a pretty stout shortblock ( i have to get rid of those stock rods and pistons) please include part numbers so that i can order the parts btw

Nice this is going to be a fun ride. If you've been watching Flaco are you in Tejas? Any truck that can run 200 at the mile is serious!

Question

Looking good so far. Few questions that comes to mind. When you said the engine was rebuilt, do you know if it was just rings and bearings or was the rods and pistons upgraded also? One more question, do you know what year the engine is? What are the specs on the cam?

the rods and pistons were not changed thus i wanted to bore to 370 forged with hbeam rods. I do not have the specs on the cam as of now but i am sure that i would need a new one the lsa on the one that i have in it now are to small

Just saw your 9:40 post about the short block... I'd go with Wiseco pistons and a good set of forged i-beam rods.
