What is the cheapest combo for good power 600+ range. What is your build to make that kind of power? Thanks

The "cheapest" way would be to use a stock 5.3 change intake mani and a couple other small things. Use the On3 performance turbo system TH 350 or 400 and a Ford 9in out of the jy. can be done very cheap but reliablity? thats the question. Best of luck!

my friends fox was completed for under 5k, could have been under 4k but we broke a few th400s and burned up a few shitty converters.

if you can weld and tune and wire you can do it for less than 2k to an existing vehicle.

"just" 600 whp

i dont have the track video but this car went 9.7x @142 and ran out of gear at the 1000ft

650rwhp on a stock cam, stock heads, stock intake, 5.3

just studs and valvesprings

I got about 3k in my setup, including buying the truck. Injectors cost as much as the whole motor. Doesn't seem to make much sense, but that is the reality of it lol

yep there are some things that cost the money and there is no way around it,

80 dollar motor
300 dollars for injectors lol

yeah. I can afford it, it's just the principal of it that is making me reluctant you know. But still the good thing is I can replace any major component on mine for less than $400. engine, trans, turbo, even the truck body itself. it's a disposable racecar basically

I'll have about 5k into my turbo and engine set up. $1650 for Huron Speed kit $1000 PT7675 $350 into my 4.8 with head studs and gaskets. $750 cam kit. $400 intake set up. $500 for misc. I could have cut a lot of corners and cost but I'm shoot for more than 600. Also a 6spd car. Didn't have to go with a Tick Cam and Vic Jr intake or a PT7675.
