370-TFS GenX 255's-Hi Ram-S400-th400-9"
Car was previously just a 5.3 with cam and tc78 which only satisfied me for a few weeks till I decided I needed to step my game up! That combo is going in a clean G body tthat I will do later!
Engine:
Iron 370
Arp Main studs
eagle H-Beam rods
mahle pistons 10.0:1 at 69cc
Stock rockers with Trunion Upgrade
2**/2** 11*
Induction:
Holley Hi Ram 92mm to Stock TB
6 Bolt Trickflow Genx 255 ls3 heads
ls9 Gaskets
ARP hardware
Alot of people are curious about the heads that what they flow. these heads actually have a smaller intake and exhaust port than the factory ls3/lsa heads and an even smaller port than all of the CNC'D rectangular port heads. here is a little info on the heads if anyone is interested.
Increased Piston to Valve Clearance (12* Valve Angle)
Includes Billet Rocker Arm Rail Mounts for use with OEM LS3 1.7 Rocker Arms
Uses Powdered Metal Valve Guides
Requires longer Pushrods (7.750")
Intake Port : 255cc
Exhaust Port : 87cc
Turbo kit:
Huron Speed T6 hotside
2.25" Crossover fully divided
S475 96mm Turbine with 1.32 AR
single 5" DP out bumper
VS Racing 60mm Gate
RPS BOV
Treadstone top outlet TRST9 1300hp intercooler
Fuel:
93 pump
AIS 3 gallon trunk mount kit with dual nozzles
Fuel System:
FIC 1600cc
Fuel lab 1:1 Regulator
Either magnafuel 4303 or Squash Dual 450's (leaning towards the squash setup)
-10 Feed
-8 Return
Drivetrain:
Built Th-400 with brake
PTC Converter Specd by Dusty
Moser 9" W/ 3.50's
Old pic of the car in its previous turbo build
old TC78 next to the new s480! its only 2mm bigger
yes i am aware those are the wrong studs, it was just for mocking purposes!
Brian Tooley .660 valve springs
Mocking up the turbo on my old motor since it had the balancer on it already...had to make sure it would clear!
PLENTY of room!

Damn that going to be my build almost exactly! , I'm excited to see your build and results.
Couple of questions. Are you retaining AC or no?
Also what do you have planned for cooling?
And last is that the Mahle speed pack with rings you are running or another piston of theres?

I believe his screen name is bergers or something like that. I purchased them bare for around 400 bucks. As far as I remember he gets them very often!
This week we will be removing the cowl trim to drop weight and make room for the intake. Will post pics as progress moves along.

Well a little update!
I got a wild hair up my *** and decided to have the LSA heads sent off to TEA for their CNC program since i thought it was a heck of a deal! Also decided why not send my s480 to Forced Inductions and have them turn it into the baddest 80mm available with their billet wheel upgraded!

Im not really to sure what to expect out of this combo but i would like to go 150 without really pushing it!
