Default Want to do a turbo build, but no idea where to start.

Title pretty much says it all. Kind of curious on what the stock bottom end can hold as far as boost, and just hp in general. Also, a big concern of mine, I was going to do LTs, but as far as I know you can't do a turbo with LTs. Can I do it with the LT headers? If not, I'll save the cash and put it into something else. I dont want anything crazy since it's a dd, but I definitely want a tirbo. All insight is highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Endrance

Unlimited wallet you will need lol... stock bottom here on 12 psi. S475 turbo. Low 500rwhp range on 8psi. Now on 12psi and methanol. No numbers yet. Stock bottom will hold a lot. Just keep good fuel in it and low timing add the meth if needed and it'll live.

Every question you have asked is in the sticky plus the answers to all of the questions you don't even know to ask yet. When I started looking into a turbo build I was clueless also, by the time I finished reading each thread in the sticky section I knew pretty much everything I needed to get going I'm a direction. Also, forget the longtubes period unless you decide on a rear mount setup. Good luck and keep us posted!

Start reading build threads on here, the more you read the more you'll start to understand what your getting yourself into..

my advice, have a daily driver car set aside.. turbo cars have a lot of downtime ($$$, labor, tuning, etc..) its not something that can be done in a couple weekends for most people on here..
