Default Lets Talk Billet Wheel Turbo

Well I have 2 turbos GT3076R's one took a dump but the other one is still in 100% working order. I wanted to throw these on the market as I just ordered new 6266's for my setup.

New these are $2100 each w/ the Tial exh housings and although you can't rebuild a Garrett turbo the broken turbo still has value due to Garrett exchange program. New center section is $688.00. So all is not wasted.

So I throw these on the market and well the invoice I have states that these are billet wheel GT3076R's. Someone I know was interested but calling bs on them being billet wheels.

Can anyone here tell me wtf I have? Btw I was asking $1500 as they sat.

Bad turbo

they look billet to me. You can see the cnc machine marks on the tips. Tial housings are big dollar items too.

Edit: The bad turbo looks billet to me

Could you snap another pic of the good turbo, maybe shine a flash light into the fin area base on the compressor... Talking about this pic.

Ya I will later today.

Yes that was my thinking with my pricing.

GT3076R's (2) $1399.00 each = $2798.00
Tial Housing (2) $400 each = $800.00
Minus Core exchange cost - $688.00
Total $2910.00
Sell $1500.00
Savings $1410.00

They dont look like any Garrett billet wheel Ive seen.

Any Ive seen are all 11 blade. Pull a compressor cover off.

Even googling the part number, it seems like a regular ball bearing GT3076R cast wheel.

Those are billet wheels

Any interest splitting up the housings? I have some gt30's going on a mustang and would like to run those instead of the t3's its setup for. Pm me a price if interested, I could even throw you the brand new housings I have here for replacements if needed. If not, I understand

It may be, but certainly got a Garrett wheel. Someone is fitting their own wheel to it.

Seems weird really

They may be Garrett cores, they are not Garrett billet wheels though.

looks like its from forced performance to me. they do a lot of custom housing and custom wheel options. We use their turbos for our Nissan GTR kits that we sell
