Boost controller comparable to AMS1000
AMS has been on top for a long time. People swear they are the best available.
looks like they might have some competition. Leash electronics seems to have made a unit that functions the same for alot less cash. Did some searching and didnt hear any negatives on them.
I called and spoke with Randy. He offers a full lifetime warranty with free software updates. They CAN be used with manifold pressure as well. Co2 is not required.
Alot of guys on Yellowbullet are running them.
Anyone have any experience with one?

The 2000 is the best available now that its out. It does everything from speed based control to turbine speed control and anything in between. Perfect for a street car to a allout promod. It also has a datalogger built into it that is absolutely awesome. 2 air fuel inputs, tps, engine rpm, shaft speed and much more.
The 1000 comes in second and has been the most dominant form of control since 2005 when we released it.
Have a look and download the pc software www.amsboostcontrol.com
All of our controllers can be used with manifold pressure as the source air.

Im having been running one for a couple months now. Very easy to use. Its more basic than the ams. Its just a time based launch controller, no fancy features. If you just need some thing to launch a turbo car at the track itv works well. It doesnt have any rpm or boost drop off compensation.
I run compressed air to mine, works well like that. I can run as low as 3psi boost off the line to what whatever i want. Data logging is ok, only logs when the t brake is activated. Randy says he can program to log when you want, just have to send it in.

Tried out the leash at the track and it worked well. I was hooking up really good so i didn't have to ramp in stages. Just launched on 3psi on the brake and then right to 20psi. Works awesome with compressed air and a 3lbs wg spring
