Default Huron turbo truck manifold oil drainback

Ill be running a huron t4 truck manifold setup on my car and a pt8847 and I just wanted to see if anyone running the kit has had any problems with oil drainback? Just want to make sure the turbo is high enough location before I go and make my bumper exit downpipe. Thanks!

I was having problems with my drain when boost came on. Lt1ray on here gave me a trick to solve it. I ran a hose frome my back breather hole on the valve cover to the air filter on the turbo a it hasnt had a problem since.

Here's a few pictures of my -10 drain. The vacuum line from the valve cover to the filter really helps on these low mounted turbos.

Looks good thanks for the pictures, how does that work? Does it help pull a vacuum on the crankcase hooked up like that?

Bump. Any pics of the vacuum line into the filter?

My return line is level. Do I need to run the vacuum line or possibly have to buy a scavenge pump?

Still trying to figure out what I really want to do about my level oil drain. Haven't seen anybody with a huron kit use a scavenge pump. I just don't want to destroy my turbo.

I'm in the same boat as you. My return is above the oil drain plug and it
seems to level coming from the turbo with a magnum 80mm. I have already
welded fittings on my valave covers for a catch can so I'm not sure if I
can try that trick Lt1 tried.

I bought a mm catch can that will relieve all the pressure in the crank case. Isn't that basically the same trick that the line from the valve cover to the turbo filter does?
