I'll be running a small 35 shot with my rear mount build. if i didn't already have it on the car i wouldnt bother. I'm going to spray through the maf so ill just let the car add fuel

I use it on my Fairmont to help that 4.8 spool a s480. I have a 150 shot and I don't do any other tuning changes cause it turns off at around 3500. The air fuel is fine even on the spray. I'm only doing it as a crutch till I get my 6.0 fixed though.

i sprayed a dry shot to help spool but there was no reason you couldn't run it longer.

stock ecm. i used the coolant temp sensor to add fuel.

i used a msd window/wot switch to activate and a hobs switch to turn it off. when it activated i used an extra relay to over ride the coolant temp sensor and made the computer think the coolant temp was ~240-250 deg, i had to experiment to find the right resistor to get it to think it was that temp. if you just short it out it will peg the temp at 280 or something like that but it did not consistently add fuel when i did that.

after you have the ecm thinking the coolant temp is jumping to 240-250 deg every time you spray then you can use hp tuners to add fuel under the power enrichment add vs ect.

you just put new pe number in there from 230 deg and up. use whatever numbers in there it takes to get the a/f ratio you want with the nitrous spraying, this number will have to change every time you adjust the shot. i went all the way up to a 200shot doing this. come to think of it i was spraying doing this all the way through the rpms when the car was na.

Very interesting... So what boost level are you running? And what rpm you having it drop off? You said you use to spool, so I assume you have it on a hobb switch then? See I'm wanting to spray all the time. I have it set up on full throttle switch. I'm thinking like a 50 to 75 shot for spool and cool. I'm tuning with speed density so maf sensor is out question. I know a wet kit would be less tuning hassel But id like to keep it a dry set up if I could. You using or fooling your coolant temp sensor sounds like a good But complicated process... Any other way around it with HP tuned using speed density?

See I know this cat is.... Pretty crazy set up. And if I remember rightly he is spraying it before his turbo and sense video went up on shot. He's using HP tuners with speed density. Wonder how he's tuning it to compensate for it?

i was running about 10psi with the hobbs switch set at ~6psi. on a cool day i would hit it with as little as a 75shot and on a hot day all the way up to a 200shot.

if you have the octane and the turbo i think more boost is much safer than adding nitrous on top of the boost all the way down the track. said another way i would only spray it if your out of turbo.

my set up was speed density only. if you want easy just do a wet shot.

Normally run a .032 jet but still don't have to mess with the a/f at all

and this dry kit isn't affecting you A/F ratio? How you tuning for it?

I want to spray whole way... So no hobb switch... I Really personally don't like wet kits. So curious on ways of tuning for this...

On a .032 jet my a/f MAY change .1. No tuning on mine. Even with the .049 jet I don't change anything, moves maybe .2

sounds like you should just tune it with the nitrous on. let it go a little rich if at all when off. maybe the nitrous pushes the boost up to a new part of the ve map?

Be intresting to see how much cooler the intake temps were. Maybe spray meth why the n2o is active? Spray meth directly after intercooler and then the dryshot at the intake manifold? Just a thought.
