Default What cam for Procharged LS2???

Im thinking of Procharging my LS2.....Currently am running a FAST 92, PRC 2.5 LS6 heads, V2 cam, KOOKS 1 7/8 on a 6 spd GTO with Monster stage 3 and Gforce 9 inch kit with 3.70 gears. Im currently at 11:1.1 compression and will run a meth kit.... My question is what cam do i go with for the D1 setup?? And also what kind of psi could i run with this combo and what kind of power could i expect? Thanks in advance!

You can't run that V2 on low boost?

Well are you still stock internals? If so you probably don't want to push much past 600 rwhp. I'm guessing you're around 450 rwhp now, so it's not going to need much boost most likely. When you say V2 you are referring to the Torquer V2 correct? If so what LSA is it on?

they way to go is custom. selling your current cam to pay for most of the new one

A ton of folks are using Martin and LIL Jon to spec these cams

it will depend on what you want the car to do

what intake.
what cubes
stall size

everything will come into play to help make a cam meet your exact needs. its worth checking into.

if your looking for a great shelf cam, bob @ brutespeed has the go to blower cam. its made 800+ on several combos. very good cam.

Obviously a good blower cam would be better, but i'm not sure it's really necessary in your case

i was leaving a minimum of 40-65rwhp on the table and most of the power is under the curve. blower motors need to make more NA power to compensate for the parasitic loss of the blower. you asked if it would be more efficient and I can assure you it will. you can use the cam you have. sure. but based on your comment above where you said

"badream i just wanted to maximize my setup"

you just gotta decide how far your willing to go to gain a few ponies or shave off a tenth or two.

Good luck with the build.

I agree, i am planning a 408 build in the next couple years tho. Would i achieve 625 to the wheels with my current cam you think?
