Fuel line and fittings
I'm getting ready to order fuel lines and fittings for my turbo build. Just want to know what everyone is using I am on the fence on trying to decide on e85 or just 93. Should I spend the money on ptfe or would the regular braided be ok. Also what brand of lines and fittings

Make sure you get good quality hose. Can't tell you how many times dudes come in with "stainless hose" or "high end hose" and it's some super cheap junk. You can tell a hose almost by how flimsy it is or isn't sometimes. Summit, isn't the best source(I see a lot of their brand fittings in here, not the greatest).
Fragola hose is capable of E85 no problem, anywhere from pushlok to the ptfe.
The difference is going to be, the PTFE WILL NOT LEAK FUEL VAPOR........ anything else, pushlok, nylon braid, stainless steel,..they could, possibly all emit fuel vapor(the smell of fuel in your garage, etc).
Fragola will custom make hoses if you want a custom length/size made... it's pretty easy, and an awesome choice if you do NOT LIKE making fuel system lines. I would recommend in doing a system once, doing it right. Otherwise, you'll spend the money and time again later. Just wait the extra week or whatever and get what you really want.
If you have more questions regarding fittings/hose, pm me anytime.

Joel at Orme Brothers quoted me a price better than anything I could put together myself, even looking at anfittingsdirect.com. This was for an E85 compatible push lock system. You give him the lengths needed and fittings etc and he sends it to you assembled... pretty good deal.

Fittings seem ok, but the line is very rigid. All Teflon inner and not my favorite. That said, I would use the fittings that are from the manufacturer of the hose as then they are designed to work together perfect. I mixed and matched one or two fittings and the ones meant for the hose always seemed to work better. I sure liked the pushlock Goodyear hose I got from Orme brothers. Very easy to work with, just heat it up slightly before trying to put the fitting in the hose.

That is actually pretty interesting that you mention that. I just went into my garage where my car has been in storage for the winter and there is most definitely the hint of fuel vapor. I did my whole car in the nylon braid last year. Never really crossed my mind.
