Default Expansion tank

does anyone have a source for an affordable Expansion tank? like under $100 shipped affordable? Im unsure on the appropriate size to use and only want to do this once.

Ive read that the 1qt or 1/1/4 qrt is good but i wanted to hear from some of you that have used one. I found this one for cheap but am afraid it is too small..

Dude, how can you price anything if you don't even know what dimensions you need? Figure out what you need, then shop.

FYI, I'm running a 6 qt expansion tank on the truck. I run one that big cause when it pushes water......it pushes water.

Jax I've seen that one before, do you know what size it is? Doesn't look very large.

It, in itself, is not very large. however, That eliminates the remote fill, and i use a larger hidden overflow tank from there. the bottom outlet goes into the 1/2" npt heater port, the steam vents go to each side of it. If it overflows, it runs down to a large overflow tank under the core support, i have been considering running it to the trunk and putting a large clear container back there to measure it better, should it push water.
