Damn! I was curious about the final #'s with the AES390/F1A setup. Now I know why your thread wasn't getting updated : )
EDIT: IO1 and thanks for the quick reply about the fuel stuff! This thread should be getting good soon.

Wow your crazy man , how come your giving up on the blower set up when your that close to the finish? Don't get me wrong I'm sure this will be one bad *** turbo set up, but you have a lot of blood sweat and tears into the F1 combo. Best of luck this time around hope it goes a little smoother for ya.

I did the switch about 2 years ago and have never looked back. I love my turbo and couldnt be happier. Once I got the bugs worked out its a freaking beast. Its on 23lbs of boost and runs very good. Being able to adjust boost from the drivers seat and not having belt slip or that annoying blower whine is 3 reasons I went turbo. Good luck op hope everything works out for you.

I am switching because I am fortunate enough to work along side some helpful people such as Shortuning, Elliot & Lewis Performance, Race Proven Performance, and KY Speed who have really reached out and gotten excited about this car.
We have been trying to line out so many things with the car (not the blower setup really) with the motor having been pulled and shipped back and now working with Jakes to do more than likely the same with the 80E.
I thought to myself....it will cost me nothing (other than a little time) to make the swap and if I can make 200-300more rwhp as well as more power through the curve then I would be a fool not to switch.
I wanted more power and with Procharger , without Expensive Cog drives, and Gear Drives, and major changes you just cant run a big blower on these cars. Its 2014 and turbo is king. Poet and didnt know it.
I want to run mid to low 5's with this setup, and try to make 1150-1250rwhp on 21-23 lbs to keep the 4 bolt motor alive.

Nice. After the procharger cars I have worked on and been around, I ultimately decided to go turbo as well.... for the same reasons you did.
Good luck and hope to see your car at the track when it's done.
