With either a 10 or 7 psi springs installed, and with the boost controller pretty much backed-off all the way, boost is very erratic. Sometimes 13psi, most of the time 17 psi. I have the s475 83/74 with 2 38mm gates. Going to remove the controller today and just reference the turbo and see what kind of control I get that way, but I cant imagine 2 38's are not enough gate.
So far though I just don't think this BC works very well, but what can you expect for $20.

I just bypassed the controller and stuck in 11.6 psi springs and sure enough it holds 11.6 psi. I think me issue is that the controller is hyper-sensitive to adjustments, maybe their all like that who knows. I will say that boost builds a touch slower w/o the controller.

Something is not right.
I have the same controller on my turbo GTO and I have installed one on a twin turbo supra. Both work flawlessly.
Do you have a picture or diagram of how it is hook up?

No pictures but its hooked up right. I needed to take it out and runs some tests, and its very sensitive that's all. I think I'll run the lightest springs I have for the gates and that way a little more tension on the controller may work better vs me trying to run the controller with barley any tension on it.
