Default drill plate??

ok here is my crazy question. I live in MA and i am required to have my front plate inplace. I had an idea, what if i drilled a some holes in my license plate? could I create enough air flow??

That would be ugly as hell! How about just moving over to one side? Iv seen ricer cars do it all the time

i dont see it being that bad... i figure a bunch of small holes would help with air flow...

It's probably illegal to drill holes in your plate.

ya, i thought about that too, but as long as its readable, i dont see the police giving me a hard time. drill the holes around the numbers and letters...
