Front mount Turbo Guys w/ T6 - Sway bar or no?
#6
In the process of procuring the setup.
Turbo will come from a sponsor and hopefully the kit as well providing one is out there that fits my needs...
Looking for what options I have. Honestly I would have one made if I had a shop nearby that could do the fabrication.

Go out and disconnect it on the car now, drive it around and see how you like it. This is the best way to test it out. I am betting you will find that you will not miss the front sway bar at all

I agree to an extent. I've driven the car for a year without it. The only time I miss it is on highway on/off ramps, river roads, or quick steering wheel movements, none of which I've found on drag strips. But I kind of look at them like airbags, helmets and harnesses. Good to have when you really need them. Plenty of people are fine with running without them though.

This helps reduce camber change, bump steer, etc as any changes in the suspension geometry of one wheel are balanced over the axle.
A strut brace will simply increase the front end rigidity and only somewhat at best.

I know how it works.
But I also know what I experienced on a car that didn't have a front swaybar. With a strut tower brace added the front end felt more planted in turns compared to without. I didn't work quite as well as the front swaybar, but it did add some rigidity that was noticeable when driving.

Took it off and drove it around a bit. I noticed right away how different it is when taking a normal turn. I never drive aggressively around corners anyway but it is a little different. With that said I never put it back on and the car drives fine for me. Takes a little drive to get use to it.
