Default Any 4th gen f-body's run high mount a/c with a turbo setup

I was wondering if anyone had pulled off running a high mount a/c bracket to retain the a/c without using the low mount and running a turbo k member. I have seen the high mount alternator brackets for the passenger head, and I figured that the a/c line may need to be modded. Just a thought. Has it been done???

Something like these two pics is what I had in mind. I can run the Holley set for $260 which includes brackets for both sides.

I have been wondering this as well. I am worried about the width between the strut towers though.

I have a setup I'm working on right now, the only way to package this nicely is to space the accessories out and use a smaller Sanden style compressor.

I'm going to run a truck spaced balancer, with F-Body accessories spaced the extra amount. If you look at all of the aftermarket serpentine setups for LS motors, they're all spaced pretty far off of the front of the engine.

With this way, you free up the space next to the block on the pass side, but you loose area in the front.

11 3/32” spacing to passenger shock mount will definetly fit. When I measured stock it is around 14” if i recall (center of theottle body to first interference)

good find!

I've been look at this, but the budget doesn't fit right now. It's taken 2 years to do a clutch and bellhousing install.
