Default Too big of fuel line?

Have a question, and it may be dumb.

I have -10 supply and return lines already on my car, all the efi regulators I've looked at all have -6 fittings. Are -10 lines going to be too big? Is there a clean way to adapt them down to the -6? Only fittings I've found are male to male -6 to -10 fittings, of would I would need a -6 coupler also to adapt the first fitting to the fittings on the regulator. A -6 oring to -10 male would be awesome but I can't find any.

Any help on this.

Then try looking at regulators with larger fittings...there are no lack of them.

-10 lines are huge, and will support huge power levels, but no they wont pose any problems at sub 2000hp range either.

And you can buy fittings in virtually any size/configuration you'd ever want, or adapt them one way or another.

But you dont need to in the first place.

I went -10 feed and -8 return and just found a regulator with those ports. It's overkill for my setup but it will be beaten into your head not to skimp on the fuel system haha

No problem at all. I ran -10 feed -8 when I was N/A for over a year with no problems. The best bet is -6 straight cut with Viton o-ring to whatever size AN you need. I'll PM you where I get all mine from. They are cheap and ship fast.

You'll have an easier time finding fittings for this regulator. Bob

Thanks everyone, the car had the -10 on it from when it was a blow thru set up. I was mostly worried that it would be too big since most regulators have -6 returns I freaked out.

Most regulators do not.

Some do, some dont, depends which one's you're looking at just.
