The upper second rail bolts to the first rail and that bolts to the intake, I did that after the pic was taken, it was the only way that I would be able to get everything apart easily, I'm going to be running it on E98 to start and switching to methanol later on.

I'm not really going for anything right now other then getting it making passes. It's been alot of work so far, we'll see what it does when I get to that point.

My mom had a Chevette when I was a kid. One day it popped out of gear while sitting in the driveway. My mom hadn't put on the parking brake, so it took off rolling down our backyard, through our picnic table , and finally parking itself in the side of our storage shed down in the yard. My dad was pissed!!! had to rebuild half the storage shed.

Like mentioned many times, awesome build man!!!!

Few more updates, got the coils mounted on the side of the block, stock style long LS plug wires will work with where they are mounted.

Bolted up the midplate, water pump, built my own steam vent kit out of 1/4" Push to connect air brake fittings and line.

Got my new turbo's in, these are a 72mm compressor 68mm turbine wheel with a .81 t4 exhaust housing. Pretty much a direct knock off of a Turbonetics Sylvia turbo, they seem like they are really well made.

Dropped the engine in, Painted and wrapped the hotside, mounted the turbos to see if everything was still where it needed to be. Also mounted a small battery on what was left of the passenger side firewall shelf, it's a 20lb lawn and garden battery rated at 450 cranking amps.

Can you post a link to where you got the turbos from?

Thanks in advance,

Same seller, but not the same turbo, I saw those ones too but I didn't want a divided exhaust housing with the way my turbo kit is designed. These are the ones I used. http://www.ebay.com/itm/351475468245?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I was told you could run the twin scroll on a open flange. Very nice build, can't wait to see what she does. Any HP goals?

You can, but I made these logs with round hole type t4 flanges so I think it would cause a restriction with a divided housing. I hope to baseline it around 7-800rwhp and just tune it from there at the track. I have it geared for around 180mph, but we will see when I get to that point, the car will be a handful I'm sure but I enjoy the challenge.

Another update, been plugging away on wiring and other things, just about have it ready to fire, just waiting on a few small things before i can. Bought a cheap B&M bandit knock off shifter for the car but I wanted the MS3pro to shift it so I bought a $15 air cylinder and welded a tab to the shifter.
