Default NEW Tick Performance 4.8/5.3 Turbo Camshafts!

http://www.tickwholesale.com/tick-pe...ies-camshafts/

These are not on our retail website yet, but if you're already a Team Tick member you can purchase them with your Team Tick discounted price on the wholesale site.

If you're interested in becoming a Team Tick member, check out our Team Tick FAQ page for instructions on how to do so. There are some great savings to be had year round as a Team Tick member and not on just camshafts! We will soon have all of our products from the retail page on the wholesale site so sit tight, big savings are coming!

These camshafts are going to be a big hit I feel as they are sized just right for the smaller 4.8 and 5.3 liter engines the members here are so fond of turbocharging.

Any questions regarding which camshaft will work best for your application please feel free to call us or email us. Phone number and email can be found in my signature.

I know the one you put in my 4.8 works great.. made noticeable gains you could actually feel over a ls6 can.

Your cam is very similar to the Stage 1 and Stage 2 camshafts, but with a tighter LSA and added overlap due to your blow through combination.

I had another customer with a cam nearly identical to the Stage 2 that gained .6 tenths and 8mph over the factory 5.3 truck camshaft. 9.8@134 to a 9.2@142 both passes on 14psi.

Hey Martin,

The one you sent to me is 223/231 112+5 .617/.598

Where does this fit in your current offerings?

No complaints on perf btw. Just curious.

Got my stage 2 ordered as well as some other items yesterday. I cant wait to get it here and get the motor and turbo in the car. If anyone is on the fence on who get your cam from, as I was, I highly suggest talking to Martin. The time he took to answer my questions in detail in a short work week with knowledge to back it up had me sold.

Ron,

Your cam would fall into our Stage 3 Category. The pro flo intake changes the camshaft profile from what I did with the shelf camshafts. Each custom grind is tailored specifically for the application and the customers needs.

A shelf cam needs to be flexible and perform well under different conditions and in different scenarios. Normally in this case it's better to err on the smaller side.

Thank you for the kind words. We appreciate your business!

Here is a link to our Team Tick FAQ page. This will help explain what benefits you will receive as a Team Tick Member.

For example here is a list of discounts you could expect to receive year round as a Team Tick member:

Aeromotive 12%
ARP 48%
Comp 31%
Edelbrock 40%
FAST 31%
Inglese 20%
Powerhouse 31%
Quarter Master 31%
RHS 31%
Russel 40%
Tick Batt. relocation kits 10%
Custom cams 20$
Cam packages 50$
Shelf cams 20$
Tick hydraulics 10%
Tick Push rods 9%
ZEX 31%

We hope to have all the products we currently offer on our retail website on the wholesale website by the end of this year. That means you'll have the chance to purchase over 100,000 products at discounted pricing!

One thing I'd like to clear up as well, the discounts are based on listed retail not advertised retail. 9/10 listed retail is the price that is crossed out on our website and advertised retail will be the price in red that is shown.

Hello Martin,I don"t remember if I told you I had a Pro-flo intake on my LM7 when you advised me your 217/225 .638/.621 113+3 cam. I hope that would not change the profile. (It is the camshat I ordered with the S476R: shipped to France)

Yes, you did specify that when you ordered the camshaft.

Every application even if it is using the same intake manifold is different. Thus the valve timing events will be different which will dictate that the camshaft profile be different.

I believe your parts shipped from our shop at the beginning of this week so you should be expecting them soon!

OK, thanks Martin.
Yes, I received the tracking number, parts are already in France, I will certainly receive them in a few days.

I just enrolled via the link you posted Martin. Since I've purchased over $1,000 worth of products from you guys prior to the creation of this, I sent and e-mail to the e-mail provided on the website. Is there anything else I need to do to get this going?

You will receive an email with a username and password that you can sign in with on the wholesale website.

You won't have to do anything else since you've already spent 1,000 dollars for more with us previously.

Enjoy the savings!!!

I signed up with a username and password earlier today, then I sent the e-mail. It said Joey was working on the ticket number. Fromm the sound of it, I guess I didn't need to send an e-mail. If that's the case, just ignore it. Thanks again Martin!!

By the way, I rock the "Tick Performance" windshield banner on my WS6 and it looks great. I always get people asking me what the hell Tick Performance is, and I tell them they are the most bad *** LSx shop around. I'd sure as hell rock one of your guys' t-shirts if you want to throw one my way.

I'm assuming the cam I ordered for my 4.8L a few weeks back would fall inline with these cams as well correct?

Yes sir. These cams are the culmination of custom grinds that we've been using for some time now.

I felt that it was time to put a few on the shelf so we could offer customers proven camshafts at cheaper pricing and faster availability.

Hey Martin, I talked to you earlier this week about the stage 2 turbo cam for my 5.3 and I ordered it yesterday. I've never had a cam with advance ground into the cam, would you still suggest installing the cam straight up? What would be the effects of changes the cam timing? Sorry for the "noob" questions but this is my first LS build and its a turbo so I want to get it right the first time. Thanks
