Default Edelbrock heads

Has anybody ever used Edelbrock heads for boost? Is the deck thicker than stock? Are they any good or worth trying?

I use Edelbrock 245 heads from WCCH. Been on for a few years and have been fantastic, although I have only put about 14 lbs of boost through them so far. If I remember correctly the deck thickness is 5/8 inch

I run the Edelbrock LPE ported 61969. They have a 5/8 deck. They are pricey but I got a good deal used. They're working good for my LS6 and have seen about 25psi and 1000rwhp.

I've been running the 245cc edelbrocks from wcch with some minor extra work by my head guy. I've been 154 mph at 4110llbs......how ever much power that is.

The decks are 3/4" thick.

Pretty sure they are 5/8 deck thickness. Regardless, they seem to work great. Was running them at near 800 rwhp and with the changes is just completed I will be near 1000. I expect them to still perform great.

I used to use the 215cc heads from WCCH.

Sometimes I consider moving back to them from my 225 TFS heads !

The Edelbrocks worked great
