Default Torn between intake choice... 408 91mm turbo

About done with this build finally. Just trying to figure out which intake to buy before I have a cam specd.

Ls6 intake, Holley, super Vic?

408ci
Afr 230s
91mm bullseye comp r
Shooting for around 800-850rwhp as a base, do some testing and then up the boost from there. Might stretch it to 1000 but not planning on pushing this motor too much.

I guess it depends on your budget and also if your willing to modify you cowl. My new setup is not together completely but I opted for a stock LS7 z06 intake on my car due to not wanting to alter or lose my wipers. But with your power goal I'd just go with the LS6.

If it's worth it, I'll spend the money. I'm putting a 4" pin on hood, and from what I've been seeing, you just have to cut a small section and it looks like you retain the wipers

Unless you need to use high rpm's, may as well just stick with the LS6.

It's cheap, it works and it fits with no modifications

I'd have to agree with the above. I loveeee the Holley Hi and Mid-Rams, but the LS6 will still flow plenty good for your setup, and help with clearance issues.

In a lot of the turbo searches I have seen air of people running the ls6 and that's why I figured maybe I'll just give that a go. And another reason for the ls6 is bc two of my buddies have the Vic's, and the ports looked pretty rough. And I don't want spend all the money and then still have to get it worked to flow good.

I thought about the vic jr but I read the jr is nothing compared to the super Vic. So why even bother with it since I'm going with a larger hood regardless bc of mph and don't trust the stock hood.

If you aren't turning a lot of rpm, stick with the ls6. It's not going to be a restriction, plus, its less affected by heat soak.
